Open Call for Screening + Artist Talk

- A Moving Image Experience

:iidrr is pleased to announce our open call for screening - A Moving Image Experience.This screening aims to explore the power of moving images, serving as a bridge between past and present, an exploration of space and time, and a platform for reimagining reality. We are looking for artists and filmmakers who challenge traditional storytelling and offer fresh perspectives on a world where time is fluid, spaces are more than what they seem, and the line between reality and imagination blurs.

Submission Requirements:

1. Originality: All submitted works must be original creations by the artist(s) and should not infringe on any third-party copyrights.

2. Duration: Submitted works should be between 2 - 20 minutes in length. Shorter or longer works may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

3. Formats: Submissions can be in the form of experimental films, video art, animation, documentary, or any other form of visual art that utilizes moving images. Submissions must be in high-definition digital format (minimum resolution of 1920x1080). Please provide the link to the video when submitting the application.

4. Synopsis of Work (max 150 words) needs to be provided. The synopsis of work is a concise summary that briefly outlines the main themes, narrative, and artistic elements of your film or video art piece.

Entry fee  is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Submit your application fee online or  via Zelle/bank transfer. (Zelle: info@iidrr.com )

Submission Deadline: July 25th,  2023, 11:59pm

Notification of Acceptance:

Selected artists will be notified via email by July 31st, 2023. Further details regarding the screening event, including date, time, and venue, will be provided to the selected artists at a later stage.
