“Birdie,” in golf, means scoring one-under-par, signifying excellence. It also connotes something “great.” In this fashion x photography collection, Jenny Xiao and Xiaohan Lu reimagine the sport through vibrant hues, unconventional shapes, and dynamic energy. “Birdie” represents efficiency—like achieving a golf green in fewer shots. Xiao uses fashion to explore her family ties, sports, and identity. Inspired by her golfer father, her designs incorporate elements like purple, wool, jerseys, and 3D printing. Standard polos become innovative dresses, and piping integrates into the apparel. NYC photographer Xiaohan Lu brings “Birdie” to life with her bold, color-rich images, blending eastern aesthetics and pushing creative bounds in makeup, hair, and setting. The duo’s work invites viewers into a refreshed perception of golf and a break from the ordinary. Dive into the world of Birdie.

Elena studied at Parsons School of Design as a Fashion student, but her works are not limited to fabrics and scissors. She does photography and fine art paintings as hobbies, these creative productions have given her joy from within. As a member of Gen Z, Elena wants to use her art to pass messages to the World. She relates her struggles to people around her and faces these personal and global issues together with her audience. In the future, she aims to be a multi-media independent artist or have a fashion studio.

Art is in the closest position with god. To give a form to this personal divinity in imagination, Elena Liu has long decided that her path in life is going to be based on creative production. For her, art is the pure transformation from abstract thoughts to visual communication. Elena is discovering her potential of herself and the potential of the human mind.

Sayoko Osada @sayokoosada
Sayoko Osada is a Japanese artist based in New York. Informed by her background in set design and creative direction as well as her teenage years as an immigrant, Osada‘s emerging visual art practice explores themes of identities, impermanence, transformation, and perceived reality. Her genre-fluid process combines installation, digital art, film/video, photography, and text.

“judge by the cover” is a view into the complexities of first impressions, stereotypes, and the human tendency to make quick judgments based on appearances. My inspiration for ’judge by the cover‘ draws from my fascination with cognitive psychology, social dynamics, and the iconic ’Gorilla Experiment‘ conducted by Daniel Simons and Christopher Chabris. This experiment, which revealed the phenomenon of in attentional blindness, served as a catalyst for my exploration of how we perceive and judge the world around us. Lined up on shelves, the series of book covers feature a girl with parts of her face removed or remixed. The book cover is a metaphor for decisions we make — a window into ourselves as much as the subject in which we place our decision — and what you discover within is an experience that shapes our reality. Created as part of ‘sayo-nara’ series, a visual art project reflecting on urban lifestyle and communication through technology, in styles of multimedia installation featuring AI-generated anime girls, photography, graphic, and text.

Alientant @alienant_official
ALIENANT is a luxury fashion brand founded in New York in 2019. The brand story originated from the founder’s dreamland that lasted six years: trapped in the white mist, a tiny ant crawling with a grain of mountain-big rice on its back.

ALIENANT focuses on men‘s and women’s clothing, bags, and accessories. The brand‘s unique aesthetic system is fully interpreted through its signature ”glitch “ design genes and ”wearable defense mechanism“ design concept.

AlienAnt believes whatever the baptism of life we went through, we all have the power to turn trauma into triumph and rebuild a stronger ego.

Our mission is to empower every Alienantor by providing them with a wearable defense mechanism and a spiritual sanctuary.
